Description

The EVAL_3KW_3L_BTP_Si_PFC is a high-performance evaluation platform designed for demanding power applications such as high-end servers and telecom infrastructure, where efficiency (>99%) and power density are critical. This 3 kW-rated board features a 3-level flying capacitor bridgeless totem-pole PFC topology (3L-FC-BTP-PFC), operating in continuous conduction mode (CCM) with variable switching frequency (45–65 kHz).

The high-frequency boost leg utilizes cost-effective 150 V OptiMOS™ 6 power MOSFETs, while the synchronous rectification leg is enabled by low RDS(on) 600 V CoolMOS™ CM8 transistors. Digital control is implemented using a low-cost, efficient Arm® Cortex®-M0+ STM32G0 microcontroller, offering a compact and scalable solution. The evaluation board is ideal for system designers looking to explore advanced PFC architectures that meet modern efficiency and form factor requirements.
