Description
This evaluation board showcases a comprehensive implementation of a three-level flying capacitor bridgeless totem-pole power factor corrector (3L-FC-BTP-PFC) operating in continuous conduction mode (CCM) featuring 4x 400 V IMT40R025M2H SiC MOSFETs in high-frequency switching leg. The design incorporates low conduction loss 600 V CoolMOS™ CM8 devices in the rectifier stage. EVAL 3K3W 3L BTP SiC PFC evaluation board operates with a variable switching frequency (45.8 – 65.2 kHz) and supports dynamic output voltage control (355 – 430 V). This three-level flying capacitor bridgeless totem-pole PFC platform is intended for applications that require highest efficiency (ηpeak ≈ 99.3 %) and high-power density (120 W/in³) such as high-end AI servers and telecom.
