ICERGi was established in 2012 by Dr. George Young with the vision of developing innovative technologies for compact and efficient power conversion. In today’s fast-moving electronics industry, staying competitive means constantly improving and solving problems in new ways.
With this in mind, Dr. Young built a skilled team of experienced engineers focused on practical, high-performance solutions. ICERGi initially focused on 1 kW single-phase applications and has progressively expanded its IP portfolio to address high-performance AC-DC solutions ranging from 2 kW to 3.3 kW and beyond, addressing the growing demands of modern power systems. These technologies are designed to be easy to manufacture, reliable in operation, and efficient in performance.

Pioneering Technology Through Research and Development
At ICERGi, we focus on developing practical, high-impact solutions based on solid research and engineering know-how. Our work spans key areas of power electronics such as digital control, isolate gate drive, and high-efficiency energy conversion – driven by a commitment to solving real-world challenges with innovative design.
ICERGi has developed isolated gate drive solutions and digital control algorithms, alongside other innovations, all of which contribute to our intellectual property portfolio in advanced PFC systems, enabling industry-leading efficiency in AC-DC converters. Our designs are now being evaluated and adopted in demanding applications including high-power PSUs and data centers.
We actively collaborate with academic institutions and industry partners. We participate in nationally funded R&D projects and share our latest research through publications and presentations at leading conferences such as “APEC” or “PCIM”.
